The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in Week 5, and here is our game preview and prediction of the matchup.

For the second week in a row, the Las Vegas Raiders will battle it out against an AFC West opponent, though this time, they will do so on the road. After beating the Denver Broncos at home this past Sunday, the Silver and Black head to Arrowhead Stadium in Week 5, taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in primetime.

The Chiefs are once again one of the best teams in the AFC this season and are getting strong play up and down their lineup. They played in primetime this past Sunday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it was clear that the Chiefs’ offense is firing on all cylinders entering this game.

For the Silver and Black, the recipe for success against Denver is one they need to use in this one, as they were able to control the ball thanks to a strong run game. Josh Jacobs is playing his best football in years, and if Las Vegas is to beat the Chiefs on Monday night, keeping Mahomes on the sidelines will be paramount.

Raiders will struggle against Kansas City Monday night

The problem is, the Las Vegas offensive line is still an issue, and playing inside Arrowhead Stadium, they could struggle in a big way. Head coach Josh McDaniels will look to control the clock early on, but the Chiefs’ quick-strike ability could prove to be too much for a Las Vegas defense that allowed 23 points to a bad Broncos offense last weekend.

Derek Carr and this offense are going to get theirs, and they should score three or so touchdowns against this Chiefs’ defense. However, I believe this is going to be another one of these Chiefs/Raiders matchups where the last team with the ball gets the win, and in the end, the Raiders head into their bye week at a lowly 1-4 with their season on the brink.

Final Score: Chiefs 31, Raiders 24
