The Las Vegas Raiders hit the road in Week 5, capping off the NFL slate with a primetime matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.

Tonight, the Las Vegas Raiders will play in their biggest game to date on their 2022 schedule, going on the road and taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. The 2022 campaign got off to a slow start for Las Vegas, losing their first three games, but they are fresh off a strong showing against Denver in Week 4.

The task on Monday night, a daunting one, as the Chiefs have dominated this rivalry in recent memory, especially at home. Las Vegas is going to need to have a solid game plan against a team the caliber of Kansas City, who once again looks like the team to beat not only in the division, but in the AFC as a whole.

This is a primetime battle in Week 5, as the two AFC West rivals will meet up under the bright lights of Monday Night Football. Kansas City star quarterback Patrick Mahomes is always at his best when the lights are the brightest, and with both teams relatively healthy going into this one, he could be in for a big day.

Las Vegas, on the other hand, will be looking to keep the ball out of Mahomes hands, and will do so with a punishing rushing attack, led by Josh Jacobs. The veteran back is playing better than we have seen from him in a long time, and now that he is healthy, he is back to being one of the best in the game at his position group.

Las Vegas hits their bye week after this Monday night clash, and a win over the Chiefs would be the perfect way to go into the break. They are a serious underdog in this one, but with a solid game plan, and better execution, these rivalry games have a tendency to be closer than expected.
