Las Vegas Raiders: Young defensive stars have future looking bright

Deablo is Divine

Going into the 2022 season, we knew that the Raiders may have something special in linebacker Divine Deablo. He went into the 2021 campaign as a rookie, and while he did not get much playing time early on, he flashed some signs that he could be a key player for this team moving forward down the stretch.

Now, he is a key part of Patrick Graham’s defense and has shown the ability to be a three-down linebacker at the NFL level. Only 24 years old, Deablo leads the Raiders in tackles this season, his first as a starter, and his ability to play sideline to sideline open up so much for Graham and this Raiders defense.

We have only seen a bit of what Deablo could be, and if he continues to thrive in Graham’s system, I could legitimately see him being a Pro Bowl player one day. He not only is a sure tackler, but he has been better in coverage as well, making him a potential total package at the position, even in only his second year in the league.
