Predicting the rest of the Las Vegas Raiders 2022 schedule

Week 11: Las Vegas Raiders @ Denver Broncos

The Broncos are going nowhere really quickly. Simply put, Russell Wilson has fallen off a cliff. His teammates appear distraught and filled with despair. You also have former teammates burying him on other platforms.

You have to wonder if Nathaniel Hackett is still the head coach at the rate they’re going at. However, the caveat here is that they’ll still have an upper-tier defense. In an ugly win, the Broncos will squeak by at home.

Prediction: Loss

Record: 4-6, 1-3 AFC West

Week 12: Las Vegas Raiders @ Seattle Seahawks

The days of Pete Carroll’s Seahawks having an elite defense are behind them. On the other hand, stats can be deceiving. Yes, the Seahawks give up tons of yardage through both the air and the ground. At the same time, they’re in the top eight for turnovers: first in forced fumbles (9) and third in fumble recoveries (six).

In the end, though, the Raiders will secure the ball and let Jacobs pound away at the 32nd-ranked rushing defense (995 yards surrendered).

Prediction: Win

Record: 5-6, 1-3 AFC West

Week 13: L.A. Chargers vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The Week 1 rematch between the Raiders and the Chargers will be must-see television. Both squads will have the playoffs on their minds by then. The Raiders will be sitting at 5-6 by this point, a win against the Chargers puts them back at .500, with a run to make the postseason firmly within their grasp.

The Chargers sit behind the Chiefs right now but sooner or later, Brandon Staley’s errors (and arrogance) will catch up to him.

Prediction: Win

Record: 6-6, 2-3 AFC West
