Predicting the rest of the Las Vegas Raiders 2022 schedule

Week 16: Las Vegas Raiders @ Pittsburgh Steelers

It’s been a down year for Pittsburgh, and that’s putting it lightly. They’re in the midst of a transition offensively with a rookie quarterback in Kenny Pickett. However, it goes beyond that due to the incompetence of offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

For the Raiders, it’s a game where they take advantage and force Pickett into making critical mistakes. A pair of interceptions will help do the job.

Prediction: Win

Record: 8-7, 2-3 AFC West

Week 17: San Francisco 49ers vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Sitting at 8-7, the playoffs are still technically within reach for Las Vegas. But Deebo Samuel, who can do a lot of different things, and the Niners’ running game will be too much for Jimmy Garoppolo to handle.

Prediction: Loss

Record: 8-8, 2-3 AFC West

Week 18: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders

In a year where Las Vegas transitioned to a new offense and head coach, nearly defeating the Chiefs before the bye week was downright impressive. However, unless the Silver and Black can suddenly shut down Travis Kelce, the result will be the same.

Las Vegas will miss the playoffs at 8-9 but expect the Silver and Black to make a run in 2023 with a much deeper roster and an offense fine-tuned into a scoring machine.

Prediction: Loss

Final Record: 8-9, 2-4 AFC West
