Las Vegas Raiders: Potential trade targets before the 2022 NFL Trade Deadline

Bryce Hall, CB, New York Jets

Recently, John Lombardo reported that the New York Jets are placing cornerback Bryce Hall on the trade block. Hall has had ups and downs in his young NFL career, but he still has a lot of upside going forward.

The Jets took Hall in the 5th round of the 2020 NFL draft. In his four-year career with the Virginia Cavaliers, Hall recorded 154 total tackles, five interceptions, and 38 passes defended. His 2018 season was easily his best, as he recorded 21 of those 38 passes defended in that season.

Obviously, these talents haven’t fully transitioned to the NFL yet, but the potential remains. Maybe, under different coaching, Hall can unlock his full potential.

There have been rumors that William Jackson III, a cornerback from the Washington Commanders, is also on the trade block and has been linked to Las Vegas. Honestly, though, I believe that Hall is the better fit and has more potential.

He’s physical and a good tackler, much like Hobbs. Jackson is a bit older and has had a fair amount of struggles in Washington this year. Whoever the Raiders choose, they’ll likely get plenty of snaps, as Nate Hobbs was just placed on the IR this week.
