Las Vegas Raiders who could be traded at the 2022 deadline

. . Clelin Ferrell. 2. player. 28.

Perhaps the easiest trade option for Las Vegas, Ferrell’s career has seemed doomed from the moment he was drafted. The fourth overall pick back in 2019, it was perhaps the surprise of the draft. After all, he never showed the ability to be a game-changing pass rusher while at Clemson. However, Jon Gruden and company clearly felt that he had the potential in him.

To say he hasn’t reached that potential would be a massive understatement. Through 47 games, Ferrell has eight sacks and has yet to play in a full season. Furthermore, his snap counts have drastically decreased over the last two seasons as he has taken on a reserve role.

With Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones comfortably above him on the depth chart, the Raiders could certainly look to offload him at the deadline

Regardless of Las Vegas’ record at the deadline, Ferrell could easily be moved. Of curse, the cost to acquire him would not be high, likely a conditional day-three pick, but it is worth it for the Raiders to get whatever they can in return. A massive draft bust, who is providing nothing to the team, it is time to part ways.
