Las Vegas Raiders: Post-2022 Bye Week Bold Predictions

Bold Prediction #1: The Raiders go streaking

The Raiders’ next six games are against the Texans, Saints, Jaguars, Colts, Broncos, and Seahawks. At a minimum, Las Vegas is going to rattle off four wins in a row.

With execution improving weekly, especially on offense, the Raiders are going to continue to get better as the season progresses. Currently posting the 6th best scoring offense in the NFL, the Raiders will only prove harder to stop once Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow presumably figure things out.

Even with a defense that is struggling, Las Vegas should be able to outscore each one of their next six opponents with relative ease. Derek Carr will be the best quarterback on the field in each of the next six games and that must be taken advantage of.

If the Raiders can win at least four of the next six, which should be a minimum expectation, they will find themselves right back in the playoff race at 5-6. Anything worse than that, and the focus likely shifts to the draft and the offseason.

Las Vegas has proven to be a dangerous team that can hang with anybody in the league, as showcased on Monday night against the Chiefs. What still needs to be proven, though, is that this Raiders team knows how to win.

During the stretch, they will do just that. At worst, the Raiders will be 5-6 when they host the Chargers on December 4th. At best, they will be looking for their 7th win in a row.
