Raiders vs Texans 2022 Week 7: Key matchups to watch

Josh Jacobs vs. the Texans Front Seven

The most significant mismatch in this game will be the Raiders running game verse the Texans’ run defense.

Josh Jacobs is coming off the best performance of his career with 154 yards in Kansas City and averages 5.4 yards a carry for the season.

Meanwhile, the Texans are currently 30th in rushing yards allowed per game and are giving up 5.1 yards per carry. They are also 29th in missed tackles, so the discipline and technique are simply not there at the moment.

So an unstoppable force is meeting a very moveable object.

Josh McDaniels loves to establish the run so expect heavy personnel and plenty of fullback snaps as the Raiders try to run it down Houston’s throat.
