The Las Vegas Raiders won their second game of the season on Sunday against Houston and now go to the Bayou to take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

On Sunday morning, the Las Vegas Raiders will take on the New Orleans Saints, looking to win back-to-back games for the first time this season. Las Vegas has been up-and-down all season long and won only their second game of the season this past weekend against Houston, so the time has come for them to make a run and get back in the playoff picture in the AFC.

Their opponent will come into this game with some added rest, as they lost to the Arizona Cardinals in a Thursday night matchup back on October 20. They have some big injury issues, especially at quarterback, as Jameis Winston has dealt with back and ankle injuries, forcing the team to turn to Andy Dalton.

Dalton played well in the loss to Arizona, and it is undecided as to who will be under center for this matchup early in the week.

Raiders at Saints Odds Week 8

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Raiders are actually slight favorites on the road in this one, giving 1.5 points to the Saints. The over/under is currently set at 47.5, so there should be some fireworks inside the Superdome this Sunday in this matchup. A money line bet on the Silver and Black would come in at -126, while a pick on the Saints would more than double your money at +108.

Raiders at Saints Prediction Week 8

On Sunday, the Raiders need to stick to the formula that has helped them to their two victories this season, and that is feeding Josh Jacobs. The former first-round pick has dominated NFL defenses this season, and last weekend, became the first Raiders running back to rush for over 140 yards in three consecutive games.

Las Vegas has been getting strong play from their offense, but as has been the case for the last few years, the defense has struggled at times. They were able to close the Texans’ win out with a pick-six courtesy of Duron Harmon, and based on either Dalton or Winston, turnovers should be available this weekend as well.

I actually like the Raiders to go on the road and win this game on Sunday morning, kicking off a two-game road stretch against the Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars. This is a soft part of their schedule, and one they need to capitalize on, and I believe there will be enough confidence rolled over from Sunday’s win to go on the road and take care of the Saints.

Final Score: Raiders 31, Saints 28
