The Las Vegas Raiders will battle it out against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8 on the road, and here are the best bets for the Silver and Black.

Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season is officially upon us, and with that, the Las Vegas Raiders will head to New Orleans to take on the Saints inside the Superdome. The Silver and Black are fresh off a strong victory against the Houston Texans this past weekend, while the Saints go into this game with added rest, losing to the Arizona Cardinals in a Thursday Night Football battle back on October 20.

Here, we look at some betting odds for this game, and give our take of how you may want to play it.

Best Las Vegas Raiders Bets Week 8

According to Josh Yourish over at BetSided.com, he feels like the Saints should be able to cover the spread against Las Vegas, a spread that currently stands at 1.5. However, he likes the trends in this matchup, so his best bet for this game is to go with the over, as the current over/under in this game is set at 49.5 over at the FanDuel Sportsbook.

While I agree with Yourish that this game is going to go over, I like the Raiders to cover the 1.5 against a team that will be without Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry in the passing game. The Saints are also going with Andy Dalton over a healthy Jameis Winston at quarterback, and his inability to move in the pocket will play well against the Raiders pass rush of Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones.

Taysom Hill should have his moments in this one, as well as Alvin Kamara, but the Saints won’t have enough offensive firepower to stay with the Silver and Black all game long. If I were betting this game, I would take the Raiders -1.5 and the over, netting you a +240 win at FanDuel Sportsbook.

This is a great opportunity for the Las Vegas Raiders to continue to move in the right direction this season, and go into the trade deadline with some momentum. They should be buyers at the deadline, as they have the talent to go on a run, but it all starts with them picking up their second win in a row on Sunday.
