Another trade deadline has come and gone and the Raiders stood pat. After a wild day around the NFL, here are a few moves the team will regret not making.

One of the most discussed teams in the NFL during the off-season, the Raiders were predicted by many to be one of the league’s very best teams. After the additions of superstars such as Davante Adams and Chandler Jones, it was a fair expectation to have.

Instead, the Raiders quickly flamed out with three losses in a row to start the season. Currently sitting at 2-5 following a beatdown loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Raiders have very slim chances to make the playoffs. As such, many expected them to be sellers at the NFL’s trade deadline.

With first-round busts such as Johnathan Abram and Clelin Ferrell, the Raiders seemingly had pieces that they would be interested in moving. Alas, despite a record ten deadline-day trades, Las Vegas did not get involved in the action. After all, it takes two teams to make a deal and none of the Raiders players were enough to entice anyone.

So, after an uneventful day for Raider Nation, some may be wondering what could have been. In the future, the front office may be wondering the same thing. These three moves will be the ones that haunt them when they look back.
