For the Las Vegas Raiders, the 2022 NFL season could not have gotten out to a worse start, as they have won only two games through the first eight weeks. Between bad coaching, losing big leads, and just horrible play at times, this year’s Raiders team has taken a step backward from last year’s unit.

In 2021, under an interim head coach in Rich Bisaccia, the Raiders shocked the NFL world, winning their final four games and making the playoffs. However, under new head coach, Josh McDaniels, the wins have been hard to come by, and they have another tough opponent ahead of them in Week 9.

This Sunday will bring a battle against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a gritty young team that has lost by seven or fewer points in their last four games. They are starving for a win, as are the Raiders, so we will see which team comes out on top of this suddenly must-win game for the Silver and Black.
