Defense

Travis Etienne vs the Raiders run defense

Last weekend, Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill ran all over the Las Vegas defense, as they were pretty much able to do whatever they wanted. The trade of Johnathan Hankins reared its ugly head, and in the end, the Silver and Black had no answer for the rushing attack of the Saints.

This weekend, the Raiders face a solid running back in Travis Etienne, who is really starting to come alive in his second season in the NFL. In his last game, against the Denver defense, he rushed for over 150 yards and is currently sixth in the NFL in rushing yards.

Trevor Lawrence vs Raiders secondary

It has not been the kind of second season anybody was expecting from Trevor Lawrence, but he faces a Raiders secondary that has been downright bad in recent weeks. The Silver and Black have been shredded through the air by the likes of Andy Dalton and Davis Mills, so who is to say Lawrence doesn’t throw for over 300 in this one.

Las Vegas looked like they had no game plan for the Saints last weekend on defense, a team that came into that matchup missing their top two wide receivers. Jacksonville has some talent on the outside, including an old friend in Zay Jones, so this is a matchup Las Vegas has to win on Sunday.
