In Week 9, the Las Vegas Raiders will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, and here are some reasonable expectations for them Sunday.

With their season on the brink of destruction, the Las Vegas Raiders will stay on the east coast, this time to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Also sporting only one win going into this game, Jacksonville last been competitive their last four times out, something that cannot be said about how the Silver and Black played this past weekend in New Orleans.

Here, we look at some reasonable expectations for the Raiders against Jacksonville.

Josh Jacobs gets rolling again

Going into their game against the Saints, one thing could be said about the Raiders’ offense, and that was Josh Jacobs was having his best year as a pro. Then, for no good reason, Josh McDaniels and his staff decided to give Jacobs a tiny workload against New Orleans, as he rushed for only 43 yards on ten carries.

Even in situations where they should have gone with No. 28, they instead decide to run jet sweeps or give the ball to someone else. Sunday, I believe McDaniels goes back to the formula that helped him against Houston, and that is to feed Jacobs early and often.
