Reasonable expectations for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 Week 9

Raiders get the win

The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost their last four games, but have done so by seven or fewer points in each. They are a team that is trying to find a way to win, and with a new head coach, and second-year quarterback, sometimes that can be hard.

For the Raiders, they cannot afford to lose to another beatable team on Sunday, as a loss in Jacksonville likely spells the end of any chance of making the playoffs. Some feel they are already eliminated, but with the season on the brink, a veteran like Carr needs to be able to will this team to a victory.

In the end, I believe it is reasonable to expect Las Vegas to beat Jacksonville, especially with them staying on the east coast in preparation for another 10:00AM PT start. However, if they fall to Jacksonville on Sunday, it may be time to start focusing on the 2023 offseason and 2023 NFL Draft.
