Las Vegas Raiders vs Indianapolis Colts 2022 Week 10: Studs and Duds

Stud – Maxx Crosby

What must it feel like for Maxx Crosby to be the one guy on defense who shows up not just every game but every play?. Aside from being incredibly talented, Crosby plays every play like it’s fourth down and the game is on the line but unfortunately the same can’t be said about the rest of the defense.

Crosby continues being the only player on this roster that can pressure the QB as he recorded his seventh sack and just the Raiders’ tenth of the season. Only two other players on this roster have a full sack and neither of them plays on the defensive line which should tell you everything you need to know.

The superstar defensive end finished the day with 6 tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, and a QB hit but it’s a shame he can’t play defensive back and linebacker as well. Just like the Raiders will be wasting an All-Pro caliber season from Davante Adams on offense, they are doing the same with Crosby on defense.

Crosby is tenth in the league in sacks with 7, leads all defensive ends in total tackles, and is tied for first in the NFL with 14 tackles for loss. He is literally doing it all for the worst defense in the NFL but no one else wants to step up and help him with any level of consistency. At this point, we hope that he is still recognized for his individual excellence despite the horrible play of his team as a whole.
