Was the new Raiders regime OK with losing in 2022 all along?

Las Vegas Raiders 2022 season was always going to be a transition year
Raiders fine with a bad 2022 season?
All I’m saying is the Raiders knew this failure was possible and they were fine with it. They didn’t publically admit it and instead rolled the dice on winning this season in hopes it’d be a null point. But a massive overhaul in the leadership of the organization — not just new faces — but an entirely new culture (different football strategy, different leadership skills, different personalities) was always going to be susceptible to immediate troubles.
This is not an excuse. I’m not trying to bail them out. This is the most rock bottom they’ve been since the 2-14 Art Shell reunion tour in 2006. Other teams get new regimes and win immediately. I’m just convinced the Raiders always knew 2022 would be a transition year and that it very well could be this disastrous, which is why neither of the three leaders is panicking.
Fans just didn’t want to believe it after getting a taste of the playoffs in January. We’ve all seen teams go through transitions with much better records and way more heart than this Raiders team right now. Their performance and attitude right now is a disgrace to the silver and black uniform. How they finish 2022 will be very revealing of this regime entering 2023.
