The Las Vegas Raiders finally won a close game in Week 11, and here is why they were able to come away with the 22-16 overtime victory.

On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders headed to Denver to take on the Broncos inside Mile High looking to stop a three-game losing streak. Not only had the Raiders been losing, but they had been losing to bad teams, which is why the game against Denver was no gimme.

In fact, many argued the Raiders would go to Mile High and lose their eighth game of the season, and for a while, that looked like a real possibility. Late in the fourth quarter, Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson opened up the door for a last-ditch drive for Derek Carr and company, and the veteran signal-caller responded in a big way.

Carr hit Josh Jacobs for a 43-yard gain to the Broncos’ seven-yard line with under a minute left in the game, and a Daniel Carlson field goal would end up sending this game to overtime, 16-16. Getting the ball in the extra period first, Carr wasted no time sealing the victory, hitting Foster Moreau for 33 yards on second down, before a 35-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams for the game-winner.

There was a lot to like about Las Vegas in this one, and here is why they came out on top.
