Why the Las Vegas Raiders beat Denver in 2022 Week 11

One Word: Davante

The Las Vegas Raiders brought in Davante Adams to be the true WR1 that this franchise has been missing, and throughout the season, he has proven to be. One of the top-3 wideouts in the NFL, Adams has been a constant on a Raiders team that has struggled so much on offense this season, and now leads the NFL in receiving touchdowns by a wide receiver, and is fourth in receiving yards.

To say he would have taken a step back after leaving Aaron Rodgers would be a mistake.

In the end, Adams finished the game with seven catches for over 140 yards and two scores, including the game-winner. It was clear from the start that Patrick Surtain II had no answer for him, and Carr continued to attack that mismatch all game long.

Adams and Carr have something special going on this season, and once they both adapt to the new offense, these kinds of games should be the norm.
