In 2022 the Las Vegas Raiders are 3-7, With consistent blown leads and failed comebacks, it may be time to make a change at quarterback. If team management decides to pursue a trade, these three teams make sense.

Since 2014, Derek Carr has been the leader of the Raiders. Taken at the top of the second round, he quickly became the team’s starting quarterback. For a team that had a revolving door at the position throughout much of the 2000s, he has been a stabilizing force.

Over the last nine years, he has become the most accomplished passer in Raiders’ history. The all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns, he has led the team to the Playoffs twice. Unfortunately, With an all-time record of 59-77, the winning seasons have not happened enough. This has been the story in 2022 as well.

At 3-7, the Raiders are one of the worst teams in football, and with a chance to win in nearly every game, there isn’t anyone who deserves all of the blame.

However, in the NFL, fingers get pointed at the quarterback first. After nine seasons, it may just be time to move on from Carr. If general Manager Dave Ziegler decides to go that route, these three teams could be interested.
