Las Vegas Raiders: Team that could trade for Derek Carr

Indianapolis Colts

Since the sudden retirement of Andrew Luck, the Indianapolis Colts have been searching for a franchise quarterback. With repeated attempts at fixing the position with veteran stopgaps such as Carson Wentz and Matt Ryan, they could look to bring in another with Derek Carr.

Another team that is loaded on offense, the receivers are a talented young group led by Michael Pittman and Parris Campbell, they also have two rookie pass catchers in Jelani Woods and Alec Pierce that have shown flashes early on. Of course, in the running game, they have last year’s rushing champ Jonathan Taylor who can operate as the bell cow behind a solid offensive line.

In addition to Carr, the team is likely to hire a new head coach after firing Frank Reich mid-season. Pairing a new play-caller with the experience of Carr could prove to be fruitful for the Colts as they look to take advantage of a division that routinely is up for grabs.

General manager Chris Ballard has assembled a roster full of talent seemingly everywhere but the most important position. With the team window rapidly closing and his job likely on the line, making a move for Carr could be more enticing than taking a chance on a rookie.
