Why the Raiders Week 11 win over the Broncos was so important

Playmakers Made the Plays

On offense, we also saw the playmakers do exactly what they are supposed to; make plays. Derek Carr was finding ways to make time for himself in the pocket, Josh Jacobs was hitting his gaps and making guys miss in the run game, and Davante Adams torched the best defense in the league.

If the team hopes to continue their winning ways, they’re going to need these offensive stars to continue to produce at a high level.

Speaking of Davante Adams, the trade for him has almost exceeded expectations. He leads all NFL receivers in touchdowns, and he currently ranks in the top five in receiving yards. Hs route yesterday that led to a game-winning touchdown is one that only the best can do.

Plays like that are exactly why the Raiders brought him over, and plays like that can provide the much-needed jolt that a spiraling team needs to find some consistency once more.

We’ll see if that jolt transitions into the next game, but even if it doesn’t, it shows the players they can win in close and important games. Again, that’s something that’ll only make them closer as a unit and more confidence going forward.
