Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Madd Maxx gets some help

814. . OT. Bulldogs . Warren McClendon. 106. player

The Raiders have a project in Thayer Munford at right tackle, but they are not fully convinced he is the future as they have used several offensive line combinations this year. Using a fourth-round pick on Georgia’s Warren McClendon makes sense as the right side of the offensive line is still a major need moving forward.

McClendon is the starting RT for the number one team in the country and has plenty of big game experience with the Georgia Bulldogs. He is not a massive physical presence like Munford or Trent Brown but at 6-4, 300lbs he has solid size and uses his leverage well against taller edge rushers.

Scouting reports rave about his hand placement and footwork and his awareness of stunts and blitzes is a major plus after we lived through the Alex Leatherwood experience. He can stand to get better in pass protection and add some mass but that can come with time and great coaching. McClendon also has the physical traits to play guard if Munford earns the starting job but either way that would be a good value with the 106th overall pick.
