Raiders at Seahawks 2022 Week 12: Game preview and prediction

Game Prediction

The Las Vegas pass rush took a step forward in Week 11, and against Geno Smith, that has to be the key to stopping this offense. Walker is going to get his yards, as the Raiders have struggled against the run all season long, but keeping Seattle one-dimensional will prove huge in this one.

On offense, Derek Carr and company need to play with some urgency, as they continue to get out to slow starts, and have to work their way back into games. That cannot be the case inside a hostile environment like Lumen Field, where the 12s can take over a game at any time, and make it very hard for the opposing quarterback to even make his calls.

This week, Josh Jacobs appears on the injured list, and that is cause for concern, especially with the way he has run the football this season. If healthy, the Silver and Black have the advantage at running back, but if they have to roll with Zamir White, this one could get ugly.

A win like the one in Denver last weekend would springboard a good team, and that is what the Silver and Black were supposed to be this year. I believe Carr and the offense continue their good play from a week ago, even against a good team on the road, while the defense makes one more stop than Seattle in a close victory.

Final Score: Raiders 24, Seahawks 21
