Offense

Davante Adams vs Seahawks secondary

Adams has been every bit as advertised with the numbers he’s been putting up illustrative of the best wide receiver in the NFL. With Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow still on injured reserve, Adams saw 13 targets from Derek Carr last week and responded with seven catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns. No matter if it’s man coverage, zone, or if he gets doubled on the regular, Las Vegas’ number one receiver must see double-digit targets consistently.

That remains true against a Seattle defense that ranks 21st against the pass, giving up an average of 229.1 yards per game through the air.

Josh Jacobs vs Seattle’s run defense

The Raiders tend to ride the hot hand versus their opponents, which has meant drifting away from the ground game when the deficit balloons to double-digits. Still, that does not imply Jacobs should be frozen out from seeing touches given the production he has put together. Jacobs is third in the NFL in rushing this season and is averaging a career-best 5.1 yards per rush attempt.

Now he goes up against the Seahawks’ 28th-ranked run defense who allows 140.9 yards per game on the ground. Winning the matchup on the ground can help tilt this contest in Las Vegas’ favor.
