Las Vegas Raiders work OT once again, beat Seattle, 40-34

The Las Vegas Raiders needed overtime for the second week in a row, beating Seattle 40-34 inside Lumen Field in Week 12.
Going into their Week 12 battle against the Seattle Seahawks, the Las Vegas Raiders knew they needed a complete game to come up with the victory. Early on, it seemed like the Silver and Black were ready for a slugfest, as they continued to match Seattle blow-for-blow in terms of finding the end zone.
Of course, Las Vegas would have to navigate an early Derek Carr interception, one that gave the Seahawks the chance to strike first and pull all of the momentum in their favor. Down 7-0, the Silver and Black would answer back immediately, as Carr hit Ameer Abdullah with a touchdown pass to tie the game up.
From there, it would be a seesaw battle inside Lumen Field, and one that would require an extra frame to name a winner in this matchup between former divisional rivals.
Raiders once again win the game in overtime
Carr would actually toss two interceptions in the first half, his first INTs tossed in over 120 pass attempts. Still, he continued to take shots downfield, and while his main target on the afternoon was Davante Adams, it would be three other Raiders that were recipients of Carr’s three touchdown passes on the day.
Mack Hollins, Abdullah, and Foster Moreau hauled in touchdowns from Carr, who set a season-high with his three touchdown passes. The TD pass to Moreau came with under two minutes left in regulation, but it would be a Maxx Crosby sack of Geno Smith that would snuff out any chance of Seattle beating Las Vegas in regulation.
Las Vegas would allow the game to overtime, and while they would win the toss, a missed field goal would give Seattle the ball back with a chance to win. However, the Raiders forced the three-and-out, setting Josh Jacobs up for his signature moment in the Silver and Black.
In the end, an 86-yard touchdown run by Jacobs proved to be the difference, as Las Vegas won back-to-back games for the first time this season. Jacobs finished the game with over 300 all-purpose yards, and at this point, could one argue that he is not the best overall running back in football?
With the win, Las Vegas moves to 4-7, and while it would take a miracle to make the playoffs, they are not dead yet. The Raiders are playing the way many expected them to at the beginning of the season, and entering the final few weeks of the regular season, who wants to face a talented team with nothing to lose?
