Las Vegas Raiders vs Seattle Seahawks 2022 Week 12: Studs and Duds

Josh Jacobs – Stud

Josh Jacobs seems to be on this list as a stud every week, and he topped some of his best performances with a truly legendary one in Seattle. His previous career high of 154 yards was shattered with a ridiculous performance where he rushed for 229 yards on 33 attempts.

The 33rd of those attempts was an 86-yard walk-off game winner but even before that, he was having a historical night. Jacobs tacked on another 74 receiving yards and according to Twitter, this is the first time in NFL history that a player has topped 220 rushing and 70 yards receiving in the same game.

This performance put Josh Jacobs at over 1000 yards rushing for the third time in his career, and he has nearly matched his rushing attempt total with 216 carries in just 11 games. He is currently on pace for nearly 1800 yards rushing in could reach 2000 yards from scrimmage in just a few more weeks.

There has been a lot of talk about this being a contract year for Jacobs and he has proven that he would be worth every penny. The Raiders will have a tough decision to make this off-season, but the fanbase might riot if they do anything but sign him long-term. Next up for Jacobs are the chargers and their league-worst rush defense so we can expect another massive performance from the young superstar.
