Las Vegas Raiders vs Seattle Seahawks 2022 Week 12: Studs and Duds

Denzel Perryman – Stud

Denzel Perryman has had an up-and-down year as he has dealt with several injuries that I’ve limited him to just eight games so far. Sunday’s game against Seattle was easily his best of the season as he made plays all over the field.

Perryman recorded nine tackles, two tackles for loss, and his first interception of the season that helped swing the momentum in Las Vegas’s favor. The veteran linebacker is not known for his coverage skills, but he took advantage of a Geno Smith overthrow to flip the field and set up a touchdown run for Josh Jacobs.

The Raiders’ rush defense is noticeably better with Perryman on the field and his physical presence sets the tone for the defense. It’s no coincidence that two of the top three rushing performances against the Raiders came with Perryman on the sideline. Perryman playing at the top of his game would be a huge boon to this defense during this stretch run.
