Raiders 2023 7-round mock draft: Las Vegas needs met in draft haul

Old Dominion Monarchs . Zack Kuntz. 200. player. 2398. . TE

Darren Waller has been injured for most of 2022 and his replacement Foster Moreau has played admirably but is coming to the end of his rookie contract. If the Raiders choose not to bring him back to save some money, which is likely, they will look to shore up the position late in the draft.

Zack Kuntz is a former four-star recruit that initially went to Penn State for a few seasons before choosing to transfer to Old Dominion where he has been excellent. His best season was 2021 as he racked up 73 catches for 692 yards and 5 touchdowns in 13 games though that pace has slowed a bit in 2022 due to injuries.

Kuntz adds a new dimension to the passing attack with his height at 6-8 though he could stand to add some muscle to his frame as he is listed at just 245lbs. He ran a 4.57 40 before the season which is incredible for a guy that big so hopefully adding muscle doesn’t slow him down as that is a major asset.

He will have to work on his blocking to play in a Josh McDaniels offense but he can be a great asset to this team.
