Raiders vs Los Angeles 2022 Week 13: Chargers to worry about

Defense: Khalil Mack and Derwin James

Over the past few weeks, the Raiders’ offense has really gotten it going, especially on the ground with Josh Jacobs. After a strong start to the season, Jacobs saw his carries dwindle a bit, but he is back to being the focal point of the Las Vegas gameplan on the offensive side of the ball.

On Sunday, the offense will have to account for numerous defensive standouts on the Chargers, including Joey Bosa coming off the edge. However, Khalil Mack and Derwin James are the two names that stand out in this matchup, as Mack can get after the quarterback at any time, and James may be the best safety in the NFL right now.

Las Vegas can certainly take care of business against the Chargers this Sunday at home, but they will once again need to play close-to-perfect football to do so. An easier matchup lies ahead of them against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14, so if they can get it done in Week 13, the .500 mark is well within their reach.
