The Las Vegas Raiders may have something special in Andrew Billings

How do you get interior pressure from your defensive line? Easy; just add Andrew Billings to your roster.

Heading into the 2022 offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders had the defensive tackle position high on their priority list. Not only did the team take a pair of DTs in this year’s NFL Draft, but the very first move Dave Ziegler made once hired as the general manager of the Raiders was signing defensive tackle Andrew Billings.

Thanks to Ziegler’s acquisition way back in February, the Silver and Black may have found themselves with someone special at the defensive tackle position.

It wasn’t a big deal when the Raiders announced the signing of interior D-lineman Andrew Billings early in the year. How could’ve it been? The 27-year-old hadn’t started a contest since 2019 and was cut by the Cleveland Browns last season after only six games.

With the Raiders, Billings has earned the opportunity to start once more, and he’s certainly made the most of it. Not only has his ’22 campaign revived his career, but the former Bengal is playing better football than he ever has.
