Las Vegas Raiders vs Chargers 2022 Week 13: Bold predictions

Jacobs finishes with 250 rushing yards and a touchdown

The last time these two teams met was back in the season opener, and Josh Jacobs had just 10 carries for 57 yards. Since then Las Vegas’ running back has been on an absolute tear, leading the league in rushing yards and averaging a career-best 5.4 yards per attempt and an absurd 105.4 rushing yards per game.

Expect a different game plan compared to Week 1, with the Raiders feeding Jacobs early and often.

The Chargers’ Achilles heel the past few seasons has been their run defense, and it continues to be a glaring weakness in 2022. Los Angeles ranks 28th against the run and allows an average of 151.4 rushing yards per game. They also rank dead last in the league in giving up 5.4 rushing yards per attempt.

Why can’t Jacobs put together back-to-back record-setting performances, especially against one of the league’s worst run defenses? With a chip on their shoulder to beat their division rival, we predict Jacobs totals 250 yards on the ground while finding the end zone for good measure.
