Las Vegas Raiders vs Chargers 2022 Week 13: Bold predictions
Crosby finishes with 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles
Las Vegas’ regular season record isn’t doing him any favors, but can anyone dispute the fact that Maxx Crosby has been the best defensive player in the NFL this season? The Raiders star pass rusher leads the league in tackles for loss with 17, and he ranks fourth in the NFL with 10.5 sacks to date.
If his performance of late is any indication, he should be able to keep the momentum going in this divisional matchup.
Crosby is riding a three-game streak of at least one sack recorded, and he has a track record of wreaking havoc for Justin Herbert and the Chargers. When these two teams last met at Allegiant Stadium it was in last season’s finale, when the Raiders punched their tickets to the postseason and sent the Chargers to the offseason.
In that game, Crosby had two sacks, four quarterback hits, and three tackles for a loss.
Perhaps a postseason appearance isn’t in the cards this season, but maybe a Defensive Player of the Year Award is within reach for Crosby, and he deserves it. With the hopes of avenging their season-opening loss, we see the Raiders’ pass rusher bringing down Herbert four times while forcing two fumbles.
