Las Vegas Raiders 2023 7-round Mock Draft: Insurance for Darren Waller

player. 820. . OC. Ducks . Alex Forsyth. 143

The Raiders’ offensive line has been mauling people in recent weeks and helped Josh Jacobs set career highs in scrimmage yards in Week 12 against the Seahawks. They are also keeping Derek Carr’s pocket relatively clean and have improved much better as a unit. The interior has become a strength but you can never have too many good offensive linemen.

Alex Forsyth was a member of the Coaches Pac-12 All-Conference second team in 2021 and was named a preseason favorite for the Outland Trophy and Rimington Trophy for the top center in college ball. He was named to the preseason Pac-12 second-team all-conference team as well and has played well for a competitive Ducks squad this season.

The Oregon native has a solid build for an interior lineman at 6-4, 312lbs, and has played all three interior positions as well as a right tackle for the Ducks. He does not project as a tackle at the NFL level but has the speed and athleticism to play any of the interior positions and provide depth there. He could also develop long-term as a starter and replacement for Alex Bars or Andre James in the future.
