Here we go again: Could Tom Brady join the Raiders?

How does he fit?

Of course, Las Vegas has had its own share of troubles this season. Currently sitting at 5-8, they have been on the losing end of an unbelievable seven one-score games. So, while the team’s record is certainly not good, it is easy to see why the team would feel they are close to being competitive.

Coincidentally, perhaps no team is better set up for Brady than the Raiders. The biggest reason is the connection he already has with head coach and playcaller Josh McDaniels. If Las Vegas decides to keep him around for another year, perhaps Brady would like to reunite with the man who helped him win so many Super Bowls in New England.

On the field, the team would have one of the best-supporting casts Brady has ever played with. In fact, star wide receiver Davante Adams would be the best he has played with since the days of Randy Moss. No doubt McDaniels would like to see Brady throwing deep balls to a future Hall of Famer once again.

Furthermore, the team has an elite slot receiver and tight end, two things that Brady has loved throughout his career. Hunter Renfrow is alarmingly similar in play style to both Wes Welker and Julian Edelman, perhaps even better. Darren Waller would also benefit from Brady’s ability to involve the tight end often.
