Raiders 7-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Defense gets an influx of talent

The Las Vegas Raiders are back in the top 10 after a tough loss to the Los Angeles Rams, here is your updated mock draft ahead of Week 15

The Raiders were starting to climb back into relevance with a three game win streak that came to a crashing halt against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football. Many of the same demons that haunted the Raiders all season long flipped the game on the pseudo home team and may have ended their playoff hopes.

Las Vegas are not officially eliminated from the playoff picture and are still hanging around the “in the hunt” graphics during primetime games. Despite them not being officially eliminated, the Raiders and Raider Nation should probably start focusing on the upcoming offseason rather than playing in the postseason.

Defense and especially the line and backfield will be the priority this offseason as will adding some speed on the outside to an offense that is lacking a deep threat. The Raiders should have plenty of cap space as well but as we know, the draft is the quickest way back to relevance if you can hit on your picks.

With the Raiders back in the top 10 let’s see how this week’s mock draft shakes out.
