In another must-win game for the Las Vegas Raiders, we lay out some bold predictions for the Week 15 matchup against the New England Patriots.

The Raiders take on the New England Patriots in Las Vegas on Sunday in a battle of the coaches, where 1st-year head coach Josh McDaniels faces off against his former team and mentor Bill Belichick. The game was initially slated for the Sunday Night primetime game, but now the teams will face-off at 1:05 PST after being flexed out for the Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants game.

The Raiders are coming off an unimaginable loss to the Los Angeles Rams last week on Thursday Night Football, where Baker Mayfield came in 48 hours prior and led a 98-yard comeback touchdown drive to beat the Raiders on a last-second touchdown.

The Patriots are coming off a pretty convincing win against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football, beating them 27-13 in a game that the defense dominated in. Early on in the game though, Kyler Murray exited with an injury that ended up being a torn ACL, effectively ending his season and giving the Patriots’ defensive line the opportunity to tee off on Colt McCoy.

Going into this game it seems as if things are trending bad for the Raiders and good for the Patriots. The Raiders need to win out and have some extra divine intervention to make the playoffs, while the Patriots are sitting in the last Wild Card spot hoping to hang on and make the playoffs.

Here are my bold predictions for this upcoming matchup that could have significant implications for the AFC Wild Card race.
