The Las Vegas Raiders take on the New England Patriots in Week 15, and here are some key Patriots to worry about in the matchup.

The Raiders season hasn’t gone nearly as anticipated, nor is it trending in any semblance of a good direction. Sitting at 5-8 and all but eliminated from the playoffs, they find themselves in this weird limbo of which emotion will prevail: heartbreak or hope.

Nonetheless they have a rather important matchup heading into this Sunday. It is one that undoubtedly was circled on the schedule as soon as the schedules were set. The Las Vegas Raiders host a 7-6 New England Patriots team that currently sits in the 3rd Wild Card spot.

Though this game was flexed OUT of the Sunday Night Football slot, the matchup between Josh McDaniels and his former mentor Bill Belichick is still much anticipated.

The Raiders are in a position where they have to completely win out in order to have any chance at the playoffs. One of the scenarios they need to happen to help them is that the Patriots need to lose 2 of their next 4 games, one of which would need to be this Sunday against the Raiders.

Though the Patriots have had their struggles this year, they still have a team that is very much in the mix and sprinkled with good talent that is helping them make a push for the playoffs. If the Raiders are going to come out victorious in Week 15, there are a few players across from them that they’ll need to worry about.
