The Las Vegas Raiders will welcome the San Francisco 49ers to Allegiant Stadium in Week 17, as they look to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Of course, if the Miami Dolphins win in the early window, the Raiders go into this game eliminated, but even if they are, this matchup brings a lot of intrigue for Raider Nation.
The reason for that came earlier in the week, as Josh McDaniels and company made the difficult choice to bench Derek Carr for the rest of the season. It was then announced that Carr would be leaving the team for the remainder of the season, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out this offseason.
San Francisco goes into this game at 11-4, and is already in the playoffs, but are pushing to be the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. They will trot out Brock Purdy for his fifth start of the season, as they look to win their ninth game in a row.

Jacobs has voiced his frustrations with the organization in recent weeks, but with a first-time starter at quarterback, you have to think Josh McDaniels is going to turn to No. 28 time and time again on Sunday.
Las Vegas has been a roller coaster of a team to cover all season long, and they finish out the 2022 campaign with two home games against the 49ers, and then the Kansas City Chiefs. At this point, the attention should be turned to the offseason, especially the 2023 NFL Draft.
