In the midst of a failed 2022 season, the Raiders will have some things to change in 2023. These will be at the top of the list.

After entering the 2022 season with loads of hype, it has been a rough ride for the Las Vegas Raiders. With the loss on Sunday, the team has officially been eliminated from the playoffs. This, after making the postseason last year,  is unacceptable in the eyes of many fans.

The three-point loss was their ninth loss this season by one-score, as the Raiders have had a chance in every game. Between subpar lay from the quarterback position, terrible decisions from the coaching staff, and one of the league’s worst defenses, there is plenty of blame to go around which leads to many changes.

The first of which appears to be the benching of franchise quarterback Derek Carr. After nine seasons of engineering the Raiders’ offense, he will not be with the team over the last two weeks. With change at the game’s most important position, Las Vegas is undoubtedly heading in a different direction as a team.

With the new year on the horizon, it will once again be time for new years resolutions from people around the world. For the Raiders, these things will have to change next season if Josh McDaniels and the front office are going to get the team turned around.
