Raiders 2023 NFL Draft: Ranking top CFP National Title prospects by need

No. 4: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

Last offseason, the Raiders made a big splash by trading for Green Bay Packers star wide receiver Davante Adams, a move that led to a monster season from No. 17. Adams set the Raiders’ single-season receiving yards record in his first season in the Silver and Black, and has committed to staying with the team even though Derek Carr is on his way out.

Now, looking at the depth, Las Vegas has solid complimentary pieces to Adams, including Hunter Renfrow, arguably the best slot wideout in the NFL. However, they could always use some more, and if Quentin Johnston falls out of the first round, you can expect him to be one of the more desirable Day 2 picks.

No. 3: Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia

New year, new defensive coordinator, same shoddy secondary, as the Las Vegas Raiders once again struggled on the third level of their defense. While Rock Ya-Sin was solid, and Nate Hobbs is definitely going to be a part of the future, Las Vegas needs to completely revamp this unit once again this off-season.

One player who the Raiders could eye with their first-round pick is Kelee Ringo, who could be one of the first cornerbacks off the board this season. He has Day 1 starting potential coming out of the draft, and it will be interesting to see how he fares against Johnston in this matchup on Monday night.
