Raiders 2023 NFL Draft: Ranking top CFP National Title prospects by need

No. 1: Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia

Looking at the 2022 Las Vegas Raiders, they really struggled to find any consistency in terms of the defensive tackle spots. They shuttled multiple players in and out all season long, making the defensive tackle spot one of the key positions to target in the 2023 NFL Draft, and in free agency this offseason.

When it comes to the TCU/Georgia matchup, there is no better draft prospect than Jalen Carter, an outstanding defensive tackle prospect for the Bulldogs. He can make an impact against the run and the pass, and based on his size, he should be able to move around NFL offensive linemen as a rookie.

Overall, there are some outstanding draft prospects to keep an eye on during the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, and some of them could come in and help the Silver and Black right away. Carter is one of those guys, and with so much talent coming off the edge, he would make an immediate impact in the middle.
