2023 NFL Draft: Should the Raiders trade for the No. 1 overall pick?
The last time it happened
Regardless of whether the pick works out, a first-round quarterback is always a pivotal moment in the history of a franchise. To make this selection a tad easier for all involved, could the Raiders attempt to trade up for the number one overall pick?
Currently, the Chicago Bears own the number one overall pick. With their quarterback of the future, Justin Fields, already on the roster, the team is highly likely to field offers for the league’s most premium selection.
Rarely available, the last time the pick was traded was all the way back in 2016.
With the Titans in control of the pick, they traded it to the Rams for a massive haul that included two first, second, and third-round picks. With this as the most recent framework of a deal, any team contacting the Bears about a trade will likely have to beat this deal.
