The Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 7 overall pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, but here are some first-round prospects they could trade down to get.

This April, the Las Vegas Raiders will hold the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, a draft that they have to get right. The franchise has struggled in a big way when it comes to Day 1 of the draft and holding a top-10 pick, they have the kind of draft capital that could see them possibly move down in the first round.

Here, we look at some Day 1 prospects Las Vegas could trade down for this April.

Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State

Going into the 2022 NFL season, many felt that second-year defensive backs Nate Hobbs and Tre’Von Moehrig would take another step forward. However, they both struggled in a big way at times, and going into this offseason, the secondary is going to see another big-time rebuild.

Luckily for the Silver and Black, the 2023 NFL Draft class is loaded with first-round defensive backs, and one that stands out is Joey Porter Jr. Expected to be one of the first cornerbacks off the board, Porter is a big-bodied defensive back that has lockdown ability, and happens to be the son of a former NFL great.
