5 Las Vegas Raiders players who likely played their final game with the team
No. 1: Derek Carr, QB
It is no big secret that the Las Vegas Raiders will likely be turning the page on the quarterback position this offseason. For nine-year starter Derek Carr, that means a new franchise to lead in 2023, and what a run it has been for No. 4 wearing the Silver and Black.
The franchise’s leader all-time in nearly every passing category, Carr was more than productive on the field, but still, the fan base is widely divided on what his legacy will be. Some will point to all the coaching changes and bad roster development as to why the Raiders struggled during his time as a starter, while others will say it was all Carr’s fault.
Like it or not, Carr was the key to this Raiders franchise for nine seasons, and he leaves some pretty big shoes to fill by whoever takes over as the starting quarterback in 2023.

The Las Vegas Raiders had a so-so offseason in David Ziegler's first as the GM, but he missed out on bringing back these key players for the 2022 season.
Due to all the losing during his time as the starter, Carr’s legacy will always be split down the middle, and replacing him will be priority No. 1 for this franchise this offseason. There are so many rumors flying, from trading up to get a quarterback in the draft, to bringing in Tom Brady, but for Carr, he will watch those happenings as a member of a new franchise in 2023.
