2023 NFL 1st Round Mock Draft: Raiders get a gift at No. 7 overall
The New York Giants exceeded all expectations this season, and now, have to figure out what they plan to do with quarterback Daniel Jones, and running back Saquon Barkley. Both players should be back, and if they can get better on defense, picking Trenton Simpson from Clemson at No. 26, they should start to bridge the gap between them and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Dallas Cowboys suffered a terrible loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round, as quarterback Dak Prescott looked awful. Still, it was a solid season in Dallas, and at pick No. 27, they get better in their secondary with Brian Branch, the best safety in this draft class.
In a shocking turn of events, the Buffalo Bills were completely outclassed by the Cincinnati Bengals at home in the snow during their Divisional Round matchup. This team needs to bolster the offensive line in 2023, and O’Cyrus Torrence is considered by many to be the best interior offensive line prospect available in this draft.
The Cincinnati Bengals are back in the AFC title game, as Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase continue to dominate NFL defenses. Cincinnati has all the talent to make another Super Bowl run and picking this late in the first round next April, they get an outstanding cornerback prospect in Clark Phillips III from Utah.
