2023 NFL 1st Round Mock Draft: Raiders get a gift at No. 7 overall

36. . Cornerback. Seattle Seahawks. Kelee Ringo. 5. player

The Seattle Seahawks will pick at No. 5 overall thanks to the trade they made with the Denver Broncos for Russell Wilson. With this pick, Seattle looks to bolster a shaky secondary, adding Kelee Ringo from Georgia, a player many believe is the best overall defensive back in this entire draft class.

player. 50. . Tight End. Detroit Lions. Michael Mayer. 6

The Detroit Lions could go several different ways with the No. 6 overall pick, a selection they got in the trade for Matthew Stafford. At season’s end, one could argue Detroit was one of the top-3 teams in the entire NFC, but a slow start to the 2022 campaign made them miss the playoffs by one game.

Now, they will look to rebound and be a legitimate threat in the NFC North next season. At No. 6, they could stun the NFL landscape by selecting Notre Dame tight end Michael Mayer, who may be the best pure playmaker on offense in this year’s draft class.
