2023 NFL 1st Round Mock Draft: Raiders get a gift at No. 7 overall

player. 55. . Defensive Tackle. Pittsburgh Steelers. Bryan Bresee. 17

The Pittsburgh Steelers seemingly have their franchise quarterback in Kenny Pickett, who played some outstanding football for them down the stretch. With pick No. 17, the franchise turns their focus to the defensive side of the ball, adding Bryan Bresee, a dominant defensive tackle that could end up in the top 10 before all is said and done.

50. . Cornerback. Detroit Lions. Christian Gonzalez. 18. player

The Detroit Lions were one of the best teams in the NFL down the stretch in 2022, and with two first-round picks, they are only going to get better. While the offense was terrific last season, the defense was a big issue, and at No. 18, Christian Gonzalez arrives to bolster one the worst secondaries in the NFC.

48. . Edge. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Isaiah Foskey. 19. player

Will Tom Brady return to Tampa Bay? Or is he destined to come to the Las Vegas Raiders? All of that will have played out by the time the NFL Draft rolls around, and with all the key signal-callers gone by the time they pick, the Bucs add to their defensive line, bringing in an outstanding edge rusher in Isaiah Foskey from Notre Dame.
