Raiders: 4 Derek Carr trade scenarios including a huge 2023 NFL Draft shift

The Carolina Panthers are doing a complete overhaul of their coaching staff this offseason, and recently brought in Frank Reich to lead the way as head coach. Reich tried to get Carr to come to Indianapolis when he was the head coach of the Colts, and now that he enters a franchise with no answer at quarterback, he may want to try and bring him in again.

Carolina has a lot of solid pieces that would entice Carr to possibly look their way, and like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, play in one of the worst division in football. Carolina has a stud wideout in DJ Moore, a solid offensive line, and with a new coaching staff coming in, you have to think the new team owner is going to be in win-now mode.

In this trade scenario, Las Vegas sends their 2023 fourth-round pick to Carolina with Carr, and nets both of the Panthers second round picks in 2023. That may seem like a large haul for Carr entering his tenth season in the NFL, but Reich is going to want to get off to a fast start with the Panthers, and has the talent on the roster to win the division in 2023 if he can get the quarterback he wants.
